Macroalgaes - what are you growing?

I'm growing hair algae on a scrubber screen, but I also have some chaeto and some other unidentified algae. Also some halimeda.
What macros are you using in your fuge? Display fuge? Successes? Failures?

I have Halimeda and had Racemosa B4 i pruned it then it all died out. In my FOWLR I have red coralline want to grow Ulva or Gracilaria (if I can find) if not then chaeto.

Any of the green variety are good except hair algae, because grows to fast. Botryocladia, Scinaia, Sargassum, Lobophora, Padina, Halimeda, Udotea and Penicillus because they grow slow. Chaetomorpha and Ulva are often used, along with some Caulerpa, for functional export of nutrients and to increase copepod cover in refugiums. I found all this info from reefkeeping.com, my new favorite place.

I have:
C. prolifera...looks like seagrass
Halmenia Floridana (not part of the sampler)
Botryocladia sp.
Acanthaphora
I think...Gracilaria Tikvahiaeracilaria ..that is what it looks like anyway.
Growing in the Seahorse tank, I got a red sampler pack and everything is growing very nicely. I purchased the prolifera from the same place, it's very quick to grow and attach to the sand bottom of the tank. I'm about ready to harvest the Floridana for the first time as soon as I figure out how to ship it to those who want it.

Do you have all those macros in your fuge?

C. Mexicana and C. Prolifera, with a couple pieces of C. Racemosa and Chaetomorpha hiding in the background here and there. Also a single odd-looking stalk of what I think might be C. cupressoides, but I won't know until it grows.

I have caulerpa in my fuge but am having problems with it constantly breaking off traveling through the baffles and into my pump. Every day I am pulling clumps of it off of the pump......

In my 180 reef display I have:
Halimeda and Sausage Algae (Neomeris annulata)
In the 55 display refugium that is hooked to the 180 I have a ton of macros:
Caulerpa serrulata
Caulerpa prolifera
Grape caulerpa (caulerpa racemosa)
Gracilaria
Flame Algae
Pink Galaxy
Red Grape (Botryocladia uvaria)
Gelidium pusillum
Chaetomorpha
Bryopsis (the forever thorn in my side)
In the octopus tank I have:
Grape caulerpa
Caulerpa serrulata
Halimeda
I've tried with no luck:
Red Kelp (don't remember the specific form, but it was smooth kelp)
Shaving Brush Plant
Ulva
Mermaid's Fan
I have the best luck with Caulerpa sp. My favorite is my Red Flame Algae, but it's a very, very slow grower and the caulerpa serrulata likes to cling to it and choke it out so I have to stay on top of it.

Could be the start of Udotea, or Ulva lactuca or even Chlorophyta, you'll have to wait till it gets bigger to see. All three a considered good macro algae. Here is a good site for algae and other reading reefkeeping.com
