Mag 18 problem

Has anybody had a problem with a mag pump producing bubble?I have more micro bubbles going into my display tank than i have in my sump.

No problem with mine. Check if bubbles or air is in compartment with pump. Water level high enough?

I had this problem with a smaller Mag (sorry I don't remember what size) that was on my neice's tank It wound up being a small leak in the o-ring.

I think i have the same prob. My water level is well above the pump in my sump. The return some times just shoots out bubbles. Its weird

Same with mine no reason for it happening but it is.

To get micro bubbles in the main tank you either have to have them intially in the return chamber of the sump or your sucking air somewhere through your return......Don't rely just on the simple fact you don't see any water leakage......Air will mysteriously find it's way in....

Another thing I thought of, sometimes a bubble will get stuck in you system somewhere and will need some time to work it's way out, usually doesn't create micro bubbles but can. Try turning the pump of for a moment and see if any air bubbles come out of the intake.
