Mag 5 problem

Okay I bought a used skimmer with a Mag 5 pump (also used) the lady set the skimmer up and didn't like it so I bought it. Well I worked fine for the first 2 weeks very quiet then one night my tank got a little low from evaporation and the pump started sucking in a few air bubbles I shut it down right away and cleaned it out and topped of the tank and set it back up and now it clicks. I ran it for a few days with the pump clicking, the proformance was not effected, just has an annoying rattle. Any ideas how to fix this or is my pump shot? Please help.

Try removing the mag and taking the cover off. Look to see if a piece of sand or some other object is in the impeller housing. If everything looks good and it runs I wouldn't worry about it. You'll probably find something in there or your impeller is bad.
