is there a way to adjust the flow on these? my sump had been running fine after i got it set up and the past couple days my return pump has been returning water way faster than the overflow is depositing...i dunno what the problem could be. any help?

You need to put a ball valve on your return pump line. I had to do this on my pump and it works great and it does not hurt the pump as some people say.

Long as you put the valve after the pump everything will be good .

True you NEVER choke off the inlet of a pump, only the outlet. Also if this is a sudden drop in flow rate from your overflow there might be something in your lines. Maybe something go caught up in there, or people have had snails crawl into their lines.

so i just get a ball valve that fits to the outlet of the mag pump, hook the tubing back to the valve, and then i can control it from there...
