Mag-Float Tank Cleaner?

Is this safe to use on acrylic tanks? I just got one yesterday for my 90 glass and it works wonders. If you don't already have one, get one. I would like to use it on my 12 gallon acrylic, but I wanted to make sure first. Thanks.

I HAVE BOTH GLASS AND ACRYLIC .....
I USE THE GLASS MAG ON THE ACRYLIC TANK AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM OR SCRATCH.....
THEY MAKE A SMALL,MED AND LARGE FOR GLASS ONLY ...
AND MAKE A MED AND LARGE FOR ACRYLIC ONLY....PROBLEM IS
THE MED AND LARGE FOR THE ACRYLIC IS TOO STRONG TO
DRAG ACROSS THE ACRYLIC TANK AND THE SMALL GLASS MAG
IS FINE TO CLEAN THE ACRYLIC....WORKS FINE FOR ME...
REGARDS....

should be fine, just be careful you don't get a grain of sand between the magnet and the pane you are cleaning. Major scratchage.

They make them for both glass and acrylic. The one made for glass is a bit abrasive. Also...if you got the largest size, it may not work so well on a small tank...magnet to strong.

You can always cut a little piece of felt and stick it between the pane and the magnet, that will make it safe for acrylic. The previous warning about sand getting in there still applies.
