MagDrive 9.5 ??

Hi All, I wanted to know if anyone has used this pump while it stands on the thin side, meaning outlet is pointing up?? Also has anyone calculated water flow rate with 4 feet of head and using a 3/4 inch hose? How can i work this out? Also should i place anything between pump and my acrylic sump? Thanks

I have a mag 9.5 standing upright and it runs just fine. The Mag 9.5 has 800gph at 4' head pressure using the 3/4" outlet

there is some minor vibration (not very noticable) but I do not use anything between the pump and sump. FYI my sump is a 10gal glass aquarium

I had alittle bit of vibration from my 9.5, I took a peice of square filter floss and stuck it under the pump, nice and quiet.

I use the pump upright as well and stuck a piece of foam under it to stop the vibration. Its been working for a year.
