I know this has been gone over a hundred times, but I keep getting asked so I figured I would post this question, what kind of magnets are people using to get their powerheads to hang, and where and how much...?

I have the Koralias. They work great. Can get them from the doctors around $40 depending on which one you buy. They are great and have a wide flow. I LOVE them. I have two #3s in my 125 tank (850 gph).

Another thumbs up for the gaussboys magnets. I got enough for 3 PHs and my grand total with shipping & tax was like 31.00.

I agree, doesn't make much sense spending that much money, plus the magnets on the Koralias are fantastic!

I used the gaussboys magnets with maxijet pump. I used the super glue gel (the one with cyano or whatever the name was). and glued the magnet to the the part that slides onto the PH. Worked like a charm. Has been about 3 weeks so far and still holding. It hasnt been mentioned yet but if you go with the gaussboy magnets be very very careful because they are super powerful. You can easily hurt yourself or break the glass on your tank.
