magnum questions

can i use a magnum canister filter as a diatom filter or as a filter just to polish off water quality. i have some small particles in my tank that my bio ball system will not remove and i was wondering if i should give this a shot. give me some advice please!!

yes their is a prefilter before the water drops down to the sump. does that prefilter work as well as a magnum? what if I use the magnum with the diatom filter media will that remove all small particles in the tank???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

yes you can use a magnum filter i have a bio ball system plus i run a magnum water is great really clear

I run a Fluval 204 on my 44 gallon. I couldn't be happier. Just be sure to do regular maintence on it otherwise all that gunk will just cause problems (i.e - don't forget to clean it out every week).
