Mail Order Fish Experience

I am thinking about going together with a few friends who have salt tanks and purchase a few fish/crabs etc from Saltwaterfish.com. Can anyone give us there positive and negative experiences with their fish/livestock? Are there any hiddens fees we could expect, the free shipping seems like a good deal.

purchased LR and LS from SWF and I was very happy with the experiance... Free shipping was exactly that. no hidden costs. I then purchased 5 green chromis from a competing site and one arrived witha aparasite that quickly killed 3 of them off as well as the CC star I had purchased from them... So Im a bit leery of buying livestock online again... Many others have had great luck and it could have just been the other supplier..

I ordered fish and inverts from SWF and was most pleased. I will admit that I strayed once and ordered from another site and I got tiny fish and only 1 survived. I would stick with SWF......I'll never stray again!

I've had 9 fish/coral/invert orders from swf.com. I have always been impressed. I have had a few losses with all those orders but the guarantee has always been respected.
I ordered once from a large competitor based in my state and was not as happy with the quality of the livestock.

i have used swf.com many times and they have done a great job, only a few losses that were replaced without incidence!!
