I just bought my aquarium and am now looking for equipment, will someone recommend a main pump to go with wet/dry. I have a 90 gal pre-drilled..I have not made up up mind on the wet/dry yet, but know I need a good pump..I am also looking to get 3 maxi-jet mp1200's for my powerheads, do you think they are 2 big? Any info would be helpful...THANKS

The more water movement the better I've always heard... if you can set the three 1200's up so there is no 'whirlpool' then you should be good to go.
Supreme Mag-Drive's are pretty good from what I've read... i too am looking for a return pump.

Also go with Maxi Jet 900 power heads. The difference in electricity consumption between the 1200 and 900 is pretty big. Even if you added a forth I think you would be better off. If Mr. Thomas reads this, he has all the numbers...

I wonder why this website, in the dry goods section, doesn't carry the equipment that the majority of the board members prefer? Just doesn't make sense.

I agree with all said. I have a 9.5 Mag on my 90gallon, also a 1200 and 900 maxi. I have a 3rd 1200 sitting in a box, i just can't find a place to put it (too much LR).

I have a mag 7 on my 90 reef ready. I just bought the one that was comparable to my RIO 2500 that I replaced.
