Maintenance Time?

On avg. I spend about 1-2 hrs per week on general maint. on my 150. With a water change every 10 days which takes me an additional 45 mins or so. I f money isn't that big of a concern then do it!

Some ppl's post are just crazy...In a week I maybe spend 2 hours on maint. and maybe $45 a month on supplies. Now setting up is very costly..Once it is running it will (If done right) take care of itself, after about a year or so...Except WC's and things of that nature..

I figure for the money it is like a piece of art or nice furniture and a conversation piece for that matter so spending 3 to 4 thousand although a lot isn't terrible. At least that is what I tell my girlfriend

2 to 4 hours a week is probably reasonable. Different filtration and ro will make maintenance differences.
