Maintenance weekend BLAH

SO I am behind on my maintenance so this weekend I have a lot to do
SO FAR I have soaked my 46G Brute can in a mixture of water and vinegar overnight....let the PH run in it to clean that too....emptied it out this morning with the PH I use for emptying and refilling the 225G....took the can outside and rinsed really good
WHILE I was doing that I had 15G's of new SW brewing for the 28G SH tank and the 54G
28G: I cleaned out the skimmer and replaced the wood stone
replaced filter media, took out fake plant in corner and moved red macro there....siphoned out some crud...and almost washed a SH when I went to clean a hitch plant YIKES....good thing I saw it in there before I did...lol...and did about a 6G w/c
54: Took apart canister and cleaned it and replaced the chemi-pure elite, took off skimmer, and cleaned it in and out....siphoned out some floaty stuff, and did about an 8G w/c
I am now making up water in the 46G brute for the 225G.....that w/c should happen tomorrow night
and the 10G and 29G may have to wait till next week, unless I make the water up tomorrow night and do the changes on SUnday...they are pretty easy
I don't usually do all the tanks in the same weekend....BUT I let myself get behind :(
I'm tired already and it is only my 1st day off....LOL

I got tired just reading your to do list.....I will never complain about not enough time in the day again....LOL, how did you get behind, took a nap or stopped to eat?

They are so nice but gotta do the work too..... how many more tanks are you wanting?

LAMO meowz wanting more? I thinks shes got like 10 tanks lol.....ive got two and thats were id like to stay!

I do not want anymore.....LOL....and GUY I have 7...5 SW and 2 FW
my poor FW tanks are so neglected.....I should probably devote next weekend to them :(

Are FW a lot easier....i know i only want a couple tanks but i was actually thinkn about a FW system today...
10....7.....wats the diff, might as well be 10 huh?

IMO YES...FW is very easy.....at least mine are, BUT I do not have the fancy FW planted tanks like some have

I feel your pain Lois! We just finished filling the 180G, what a nightmare. I finally gave up with my RODI and went and bought water at the store. I don't even remember the last time I had to BUY RODI water. The guy looked at me funny and felt so bad for me lugging 5G jugs back and forth to the store that he started just giving me the water for free.

LOL...I remember when I filled my 55g years ago, my neighbors told me they couldn't figure out why I would come home for 5 minutes and keep leaving...I only had two 5g jugs and around my house a jug costs $15.00 and the water was only $1.35 to fill it..

No matter how much I wiggle my booty and bat my eyes they still make me pay..... :rotfl:

LOL i know right? Jerth we just dont have wat it takes i guess....sometimes i try to hussle the LFS and they relpy with "its not a pawnshop man!"
They are just joking though, as am i.
I do get on their good side though like givin a kenya frag to one of the girls....

LOL .. wait wait wait...
I was with my husband. And I literally pay this guys electric bill with how much I spend in there, he can spare 90G of water. He views it like this: The faster this tank is up and ready, the quicker i spend more money in his store, LOL
