I'm upgrading to a 270 gal tank, and would love to get a large Angel that was reef safe. The Majestic would be perfect, but I've read conflicting reports concerning their compatibility w/reef type set-ups. Has anyone here had success keeping this Angel in a reef?
I bought my majestic angel from a guy in Sac, it was in a 300g reef. He sold him because it was feeding on his sps...he was in my 220g and I sold him because he took a liking to some of my corals and clams.
Beautiful fish, but not reef safe.
Got my singapore angel yesterday, and his is nipping at everything insight, although he has been eating, my aip anemones, so that is a plus! I also have a pagonda coral, and he hasn't touched it yet though.
