Deflated since this morning and not expelling waste, seems like a long time to be deflated but I would not panic. Watch for signs of death expelling it's guts (white and stringy) or disintegration or turning to goo. Deflated you probably can't see the mouth but a wide open mouth would accompany these things. I am not saying it is dying, but it could. Like I said before they can recover but also could kill it. I just want you to be aware of the signs to watch for. If it does die in your tank it will create an amonia spike that could kill everything. You will need to remove it immediately. Make sure it is dead before removing it. Sometimes a hard call but one you have to make. Is ther a way you can get a picture of it? I know you could not get one before but i would help a lot.

Wife kicked me off the comp, told me I had to do home work. Rip is prob about 1/2 inch big, and has 2 or 3 one inch strings hanging from it... I will try to get a pic of it in the morn.. No I have not tried to move her... she tried to move her self... rip isn't on the side as the pic you show here... it is on the actual BOTTOM of the foot.

That is the bottom, it is mine as it split. I was wondering if the strings you describe looked similar?

If the color is good it is not disintegrating I would recommend to just leave it alone. It no doubt got a bit stressed with the tear, keep good water quality no toxic levels of anything to help reduce the risk of infection and leave it alone to heal. Observation is key here and about the only thing you can do for it for now is keep up on water quality and observe. Once it inflates you can try to feed it. Small very small particulates of raw marine foods soaked in selcon to help its immune system. JMO good luck.

If your water quality is good there is no need for a change that often. I would run carbon and leave it be, do your regular water changes as you normally would.

I run ChemPure for my carbon, ect.... I Do this kind of water change because this tank has been set up for 3 years.... but was neglected from Feb till Sep, no waterchanges or top offs..... just had a power head rotating the water..... and the level had dropped to half full through that time. I renergized it, and I have a pistol shrimp (who lived through the whole ordeal) who likes to stir up all the sediment from beneath, so I do water changes to keep up with him, and to get rid of all the sediment.... Long story long...
