I just purchased 40 lbs of dry carib sea reef sand and 20 lbs of carib sea reef LS. I am going with a shollow sand bed and I have just a couple questions before I begin.
Do I mix the LS with the dry sand before I put it in the tank? If not what goes on the bottom dry sand or LS?
Since I am mixing the LS in with the dry sand do I still need to do the nylons filled with CC or do I not need to bother with that. I only have 35lbs of LR so that may make a difference in your answer.
Please help!
