Malware Wiped removal?

There was a post in the New Hobbyists forum yesterday. It was a scam post. Anyway I was copying and pasting it to report it to the moderators and I inadvertantly clicked on the link. That started a host of problems for me. It installed a trojan called "Malware Wiped". If anyone knows how to remove it, I would greatly appreaciate it. You can email me at trainfever at comcast dot net. thanks

I cant find anything on that one. If you have a spyware viruse scan update it and do a scan. also clear EVERYTHING
cache, temp files, recent documnets, cookies, offline content, run scandsk and disk defragment,
I beleive that that viruse is in one of those areas and that where it is filed to so when you scan make sure that it is set to svan those areas as well.
I will check again tomorrow and see ifI can find some more information on it for ya.

AVG and AdAware are both free programs that you should use..As for the virus, Google works wonders for step by step removal...And steer clear of the "inadvertent" clicks..

Watson, I already have AVG and Adaware. Adaware freezes up on me. As far as the "inadvertant clicks", I dont appreciate where you are going with that. If you ask the moderators, they will tell you that I have reported numerous spam posts on here.
