i would love to have one of these beautiful fish but how do you take care of it i heard it was very hard

They usually only eat copepods and other pods and don't take very well to prepared foods. In a well established 150 gal reef you should not have any problems. :)

i had one for 1.5 years and it ate shrimp pellets with no problems until i had ick wipe out most of my fish including my favorite goby

they come from your lr and ls and reproduce in your tank. How old is your tank? Have you seen all the posts about white specks on tank glass? The are usually the pods starting up. Now there are those on this board who can give you the scientific life cycle etc but I'm not one of them Here is a great link to a website that explains a lot of "things" that appear in our tanks. critters Good luck!

good luck I too have a madarin I lost my first one because I believe he starved and was weak and then was eaten by others, but we went ahead and got another hopefully he lives I see tons of pods everywhere but I did last time too so I guess we shall see. Good luck with yours they are beautiful fish

hes eating well i even see him eat brine shrimp my lfs had him for 3 mos and they fed him brine shrimp
