are mandarin goby's sensative to copper. I want to put him in my qt tank, but there is copper in there. I don't have much time here....the question never hit my until I was on my way home with him....so if I don't get some clue soon, he'll go into the main tank. Thanks.

Add him right into your main tank. They are very sensitive to the medications that are used for treating regular fish.

I’ve heard about a couple of medicated products that might be safe for use with the mandarin fish but I still wouldn’t risk it. A much safer treatment would be hyposalinity. I would keep a close eye on him copper is not safe. Good luck

no no, the fish isn't sick, I just wanted to start him in the qt, he's fine.......ha, so far. Not asking if I could put him in the copper infested tank cuz he's sick, asking as it was where I had planned to put him first.wasn't sure if he was okay with copper, so that's why I asked.
