Mandarin QT?

Hi all - I searched the forums but didn't see this, so I hope it's not a repeat of an oft-asked question...
I am interested in getting a mandarin (eventually) - I have a 90gal with about 175#LR, and a 30gal fuge with about 10#rubble and a big ball of chaeto. The fuge is screaming with pods, and I see quite a bit in the DT.
Two questions: How do you quarantine a mandarin? I know they are (reportedly) resistant to ick, with their heavy slime coat. Does this pretty much preclude the need to QT? If not, how do you ensure enough food?
Second - with the set-up described, I also have a canary fang blenny that is constantly picking at the rocks. These two together should be fine - and not decimate the critter population, correct?
Thanks,
Jason

I asked the question awhile back and I was told by experts that a Mandarin does not need to be QT'd because It cannot catch Ick. Just make sure u acclimate him well.

Their slime makes them resistant to ick but they can still carry ick in their gills
