Mandarin tip.

As a long time mandarin keeper I have found that although pods are their main diet they will eat brine shrimp and blood worms as a supplement. The issue I have found it that they are such slow swimmers and eaters. They will pick at their food on the bottom of your tank and rocks. By the time the food settles there most of your other fish have eaten most of it. What I do at feeding time is to locate my mandarin. I introduce the main food at the opposite end of the tank. I Take some frozen brine and mix it with tank water and use a sea squirt to introduce it at the bottom of the tank between rocks in the location of the mandarin to give his a fighting chance to get his fill.

Also you can use a clean glass jar olive for example. Place food in it and then leave at the bottom of the tank. The mandy can get in most other fish can't
