@ the LFS today and looked at what they called a Mandarin . Is this a goby and what type of care and feeding would it require?

it is a goby and requires live sand and live rock, should not be kept with agressive fish, needs hiding spots and excellent water quality.

a very mature tank with at least 100 lbs of LR. And all of the above

their man food source are pods, which gorw and live in live rock/sand, a refugium is almost always needed to sustain the pods, like mentioned 100 pounds or more and a very mature tank, i ahve one, and i know, in milwaukee you will never find one that eats frozen foods, i tried and tried, but got so tired i just bought one from hoffers, min eis great nice big fat plump bugger!
