Mandarine in trouble

Wow!
I tried some of the suggestions and it is finally eating. Hopefully it will continue to do so. Last night I made a batch of mysis shrimp in a ten gallon tank hoping the mandarine eat. The combination of turnnig off the filters and PH did the trick. I was so happy to see the tiny shrimp get gobbled up. The shrimp still land has to land a hair's width away from its mouth. But it eats. Thanks for all of the post you have sent.
If anyone has had luck raising mysis shrimp let me know. I'm sure I'll have continue doing so. Thanks again.

Chef jaysen,
I'm interested in the fish shrimp plus. I have never heard of it and I don't know who makes it. Please let me know. Thanks.

Whast does a mysis (SP?) shrimp look like? I also have a mudd system and have boat loads of pods and shrimp looking things swimming about. I too have a mandarin all by himself with no competetion at all, i switch little live rocks back and forth every day from my refugium, but I noticed that the LR in my mandarins tank has pods swimming over it when I turn my lights on. Now he is starting to lose body mass. Tried the brine hatching, worked ok but they are not nutritious even with kent zoe, made my water conditions suck any help is awsome....

Brine shrimp plus is frozen food. Check it out at your lfs. $10.00 for like 70 little cubes and you cut them in half. All your fish will love it. There is smaller sizes as well. Can't hurt.

www.oceanrider.com sells live amphipods for feeding seahorses.
I have not bought any yet as I am cycling my LR in the tank they will eventually go into. I would love to hear from anyone who has purchased from them. I will post about them after I have completed my sea horse tank, and start using them. I was directed to them by my LFS when I was asking about Seahorse setup. My email is npaulbecker@adelphia.net.
Good Luck.
