The mantis shrimp is the fastest striking animal in the world. They had to use a 3000 frames per second camera to capture it. They went to 15 frames per second to slow it down and it still moved fast. That shrimp is badass

That's a Zebra Mantis Shrimp, Lysiosquillina maculata. To 40cm!! The largest of all Mantis shrimp, even larger then a Peacock. They actually live in a pair in the wild. Unless collected as a pair, I doubt a forced pair in an aquarium will work.
Not many people can provide almost two feet of sandbed depth requred for an adult.
