Mantis Shrimp???

I hear often a click kind of sound in my tank. I have it for a year and somebody suggersted that it could be a mantis shrimp since my fish have gone missing and never seen again. So does anybody know how to etermine this since I have not seen anything at all, i do however seen carcasses of crabs and flesh (probably the dead fish). What can I do to identify this susspect ad put an end to the killing spree????

What size is your tank? How much LR do you have in there? What type of cleaning crew is in your tank and have you started to see empty shells around?

There is also a little video of a Mantis hunting down prey. You'll be able to hear the sound it makes. You'd know if you hear it.

A popping sound could be from a Mantis. If so, however, i'm not sure it's hunting down your fish.
There are two types of Mantis. The smashing kind and the slashing kind. To the best of my knowledge, only the smashing kind make a popping noise.
Smashers hunt inverts like snails and crabs. Slashers kill fish.
