Marble Lookig Thing on Rock (Pic) - Please help identify

i have a problem with something in my tank.
I have a attached a pic of the offeneding entity, i need help with what it is and what i should do to it.
I let it go thinking it would go away, but now i am afraid it will hurt my tank.
All my lvls are fine and i have a 30 gallon tank with 3 fish and various inverts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It definently isn't a snail, i zoomed in a little more, if you need me to zoom more i will, it hasn't moved in a month.

Valonia...bubble algae.If allowed to spread it can quickly become a problem. There have been numerous posts on these forums about the nasty stuff. I'd urge you to use the search feature above and gather all the info you can about it.If possible remove it without allowing it to burst or break open and remove it. There is a potential for it to release spores which will contribute to more growing if it breaks open inside your tank.

i had one in my tank i tried to get it off with a razor blade while using a siphon so if it did burst it went down the siphon. it seemed to work. i didnt get anymore. just pry it off and vacum it up.
