I just feed mine every other day, and give him small pieces until he doesn't want anymore. If you want, try the liquid krill in the packets, he will love it and it's easy for them to eat.
how do you guys feed your sharks? do you just drop in food? or do you wave the food in front of it untill it bites? mine must not be hungry cause it doesnt try to eat. its been like 4 days now.
When i first fed him, i used a stick and waved in front of him to make sure he ate. Now as soon as i drop shrimp in the tank, hes swimming like crazy to find it.
when you useed the stick did he go for it right away? cause ive tried to feed mine two separet days with a stick and he actually moves away from it like im bothering him. i used fresh shrimp, clams and jumbo krill so far but nothing works. i think hes on a diet.
Squid is the magic food that they wont turn down. My sharks will refuse everything but squid.
Growth rate depends on your feeding. It could go from newly hatched to 12-14 inches in a year.
By 2 years it could be 20"
By 3 years it should be 24-27"
Make sure your feeding with vitamins for sharks, and dosing iodine to protect your sharks life.
