Mardel Coppersafe In QT Tank

I had an ich outbreak 6 weeks ago. I tried the hyposalinity treatment and (yes I kept it closely monitored at 1.009 sg) after 2 days there was no ich, then 5 days later the puffer got sugar-coated again. I then put in the Coppersafe. The ich was gone in 2 days, again. I slowly raised the sg (I know hypo+copper=bad but the puffer was dying) and maintained the Coppersafe. After 4 weeks and 5 days of no ich, I moved the fish back to the main tank. That was 3 days ago. I got my new fish today. I have replaced 40 gals of the water in the tank since the last Copper was added. Yes I am that anal, I keep a diary to make sure everything is monitored precisely. Do any seasoned aquarists know if residual copper might hurt the new fish?
p.s. This is the first time I haven't lost any fish, at all, to ich.

The new fish are: 3 green damsels, 3-3 stripe damsels, 1-Royal Gramma, 1-6 line wrasse, 1-green clown goby, 2-false percs.

If you test and copper is undetectable, or at a very safe level, you'll be fine. There are some very copper-sensitive fish, like Flame Angels, but all fish can tolerate some copper. (not true for inverts) I use SeaChem Cuprisorb on every new fish in QT and swear by the treatment. (I also de-worm all new fish.) If you are at all worried, just run a high quality carbon to eliminate any possible residual copper.

What I was meaning(sorry for the ramble)was the 55g QT tank was treated with Coppersafe. I replaced 40g of the water in the QT since the last treatment with copper. Will the residual copper in the QT tank affect the new fish I just got today and put in the QT tank?

No. It didn't hurt the fish you treated; so it sure won't hurt any fish at a much lower level.
