Marie Osmond's 18-year-old son reportedly committed suicide Friday night by jumping from a building in downtown Los Angeles.
Michael Blosil jumped from his apartment, leaving a note behind saying he intended to kill himself after a long battle with depression, "Entertainment Tonight" reported.
The show quoted Marie Osmond saying: "My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time."
Marie Osmond, who appeared on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" in 2007, is one of the best known of the Osmond family singers who were popular in the 1970s.
