If heard it both ways.A marine betta is reef safe as long as there are no shrimp. And ive heard they are not reef safe at all.And if they are reef safe are shrimp all that you cant have with them.Or will they bother clams and things like that?So I need to know are they or arent they reef safe?

I've had a Marine Betta for approx. 2 yrs. along with a Coral Banded Shrimp, Cleaner Shrimp, and Fire Shrimp. I also have 2 clams in my 125 gallon reef and I have never ever seen my Marine Betta even get close to bothering any of what I just mentioned at all.

I'll have to agree with the other replys you have received. They will do just fine. Had one for over three years, and would still have it if my DW hadn't wanted to take a two week trip to Disneyland and take all the kids, leaving my fish with nobody to care for them. Grrrrr.......

Could somebody post a pic of their marine betta because I've never seen one in someone's tank before.
