Well I gotta do a research paper for english and it has to be debatable. I would love to find a debate/arguement in marine biology. Does anyone know one or where I can go to look? Yahoo or google aint bring up anything. Thanks

You could debate off shore oil drilling and it's effects on the local marine life.

Look into offshore LNG platforms and there effect on fish and game. Last year that was a pretty big topic here in south Alabama. Conoco-Phillips is trying to get approval for a platform in the Gulf of Mexico to heat up the liquidified natural gas to change it back into a gas to inject it into the pipelines that run through this area. They would use seawater to do this and there are concerns on what effect it would have on the fish population because of the cooling of the water that would happen. I forget the amount of water that would have to go through the heat exchangers but it is alot. You may could find some info at www.al.com to at least get started.

You could also look into organizations like greenpeace, and government standards or regulations regarding this.
