I don't think so, I recall looking at that stuff and believe I saw the words "Not for aquarium use" on it.
I would check it out throughly first.
Look for Weld-on products.

Well, southdown sand says on it "Not for Aquarium Use" too! LOL.

I have used marine goop in the past on my 300gal in september and haven't had problems yet. I am not saying it is good, but it worked for me and I didn't lose any livestock or any strange after affects, but mine is not submersed. It is on the outside of a wet-dry, on a bulkhead. Some of it is touching water, wherever that leak was, but like I said, I never noticed anything different.

i used marine goop for my skimmer tank and it worked great, if you use a hair dryer it cuts down the drying time, i used it to seal a leak on one of the fittings while water was running and worked great while heating it , it forms a layer and seals out the water.:jumping: :jumping:
