marine rock moved from fresh to marine

~I have some fairly large marine rock in my fresh/cichlid tank. It was some bits I found on the Atlantic coast of Florida years ago. They have these fossilized looking inprints of nautalis
or something on them.
~The question is how to I prepair them for marine use? I mean bleaching or what ever.... I'm sure there not good to go from tank to tank...

I wouldn't use any harsh chemicals like bleach. Never know when there is a pocket somewhere that might trap a minute amount of it. I would rinse them really really really good and then cure them in a trash can with a heater and a powerhead with saltwater.

fresh algea and organisms will die off. Thank you....
~I think i have about 60 pounds of these rocks. I think these rocks are a result of dredging off shore at least that's what the
forest ranger told me...
