IO wasn't designed for a reef tank, which is why the calcium levels are lower than normal. -- is made by the same company but geared for a reef tank with higher Ca, alk, and Mg levels.

IMO, if you have a beatifull reef tank, why change salt? Keep the same before you loose it =)

I've read some salts can give you spikes in nitrates and other levels.Is this true?if so what brands?
