Marine Snow

Anyone use Marine Snow reef supplement? Long story short, I'm running out of DT's Phyto and can't get to Seattle to my lfs that carries it for awhile. There is a lfs close by that carries Marine Snow, but I've never used it and don't know anyone who does. Wazzup?

I don't personally use it , but I know reefers who have used it for quite some time and they like it. Personally I use DT's or I visit the LFS and purchase some phyto from them that they have.

I think the concensus is Marine Snow is a waste of money. Stick with DT and golden pearls.

I mix dt's and marine snow...golden pearls are great but can muss up the tank if youre not careful.

marine snow works for me! snow and dt's only diffrent is size of photoplankton and snow has a wide rage of size for all coral and intertebrates give it a try you migth like it either one is not bad

i've been using it for awhile now and it seems that alot of people are in this area because it doesn't stay on the shelf long at the lfs. I think it's all in personal preference.give it a whirl its better than not having any at all, even if you dont like the results but i'm sure you will
