Marineland Eclipse Lighting

Does anyone know of any retrofit lighting kits for the marineland eclipse systems that will work for corals/reef? I have found some online that work on the hoods but I can't tell anywhere if they work for the complete systems. I know this might be a stupid question, but i'm just not that familiar with the hoods. I have had this thing set up for a few years as freshwater and want to convert to a mini-reef system for our baby's room. The model I have is the 3 gallon one but i'm not sure. If anyone has any experience with these, please help.

I've been looking for retrofit kits for my 25 gallon tall show Eclipse2 for a while too. I posted a thread in Classifieds.

Or you can talk to marineland. I think they got the hint and made specific hoods for reef lighting....

you have to make sure you mount that light behind plastic or glass because the ballast is built into the light and can not take the moisture
