dawicked1,
I think two might be a little much but you may be able to get away with it very close maintenance.

I disagree, a 12 gal nano is TOO small for two clown fish. If you are new to saltwater tanks you might have a lot of problems with a tank that small. Nano tanks are very challenging to maintain and I would not recommend one for a novice.

Two small percs will be fine, like others said, keep up on your water changes, at the minimum 10% a week, put a few pieces of LR in the tank, Feed a small amount every other day. As long as you are deligent nano's can be a lot of fun.
People put a heck of a lot more than two percs in their nanos all the time.
Just don't put an anemone in it.

2 clowns will be ok in that small of a tank, however, not in the tank you chose... here's why. The filter that comes with the tank is specifically designed to filter only that amount of water. If you were to purchase a filter that would handle, maybe 20 gallons, then you could house 2 clowns in the tank, because you have enough filtration. Clowns don't need much swimming room, so it's not the tank size that's the big issue, it's the filtration.
I agree that you could get away with it, but you'll be doing water changes like 2x's a week, and that's not a fun maintenance schedule.
Also, in a tank that small, mated or not, clowns WILL get territorial, and you may find one of them dead, due to being munched by the other...
