Marineland Penguin 350 for 10 gallon

Is that going to be too much for a 10 gallon tank? I will not be using a powerhead....

Probably a little too powerful. Do you own both already? I'd try it out on an empty tank if you have one, just to see how much it pushes.

no I don't, what size would you recommend? They just caught my eye because of the bio wheels......and they are on sale! I trying to not use a powerhead, so I thought having a bigger filter would help

Why do you want such a tiny tank?

well, long story short, I saved a fish that was being bullied in my 40 gallon tank! Now I kind of like the tank and I bought par 38 led bulbs for it, I want to see the difference in coral growth. I have a small aqueon filter on it, but thought something bigger would be better for it. what would you choose

For a 10G the single filter will be good enough.....an I never used the wheels in any of my SW tanks anyway
