I bought a FD from my local store yesterday and as soon as i placed it in the tank my clown tore the feather off of it and ran with it. I place the rest of it in a crevise and then the clown was tugging at the rest of it. What should I do with e FD now?

I think that is odd behavior for a clown! A wrasse, no, but a clown? WOW! Maybe clown counseling! A tramatic juvenile experience is most likely the culprit. LOL! Just joking. But, it is odd behavior for a clown. I just hope that the FD makes it. Good luck!

Went back to the LFS and got another FD and they said same thing. To try to put FD in tank with lights off and so far its hanging in there. Guess I see if the clown does like it in the morning.

My clarkii clown doesn't mess with any of my corals but is not fond of my coco work. My coco worm stays hidden all day and only comes out at night when the clown is sleeping.

He has a point. I added some new zoa frags and my clown went crazy.....started digging in the sand again. Apparently Juliet is very unhappy about the new decorations. lol She seems ok with it today. But the territory thing might be why she's tearing it up
