Just a question that doesn't have anything to do with the clown, but what kind of lighting do you have on that tank?

I got them both from this site and with in five minutes of being in my tank they have been like this since, he even sleeps in it at night.. I had a pair of false perc before and they would never host an anemone, So im very happy with these two... Good luck with urs!

condilactus (Haitian) anemones are not a natural host for clowns since there are now clowns in the caribbean. Not many clowns will use a condy as a host, but maroons seem to be the exception on occasion.

yeah rod is right, I have 2 false clowns and I bought them a pink anemone and they would not even go next to it. It was so pretty. I have a aquapod myself but a 12 gallon. Love it. Saving up money to get a sunpod so I can get a rose bubble tip anemone or some other nice anemone hopeing that my clowns will host it.

Ur fish is Awesome!! I actually ordered a second maroon and my fist one wanted to be a jerk and kept attacking it so I had to move my first one to our bigger tank and get him a new anemone and my new fish doesn't really have a intrest in the anemone...

yeah i was going to get a second clown but i descided instead not too bc this one has taken over from side to side of my tank with all his vacation homes

Never ever get two maroons unless they're mated. I would highly recommend geting the book Clownfishes By Joice D. Wilkeron. Do some research so you don't kill innocent animals.
