ive got a maroon that ive had for 6 or 7 months now, and when i got him his front gold stripe was very faint and the other two where white. now it seems that the front is turning more white than gold. is there a reason for this? hes in a 75 gal. fowlr for now and all the parameters are good. is there a special food that will inhance his colors? i was told that the younger ones do have white stripes, and as they get older they turn gold, so whats up? thanks:notsure:
