I've had my maroon clown, Durza, for about 2 months. He was sold in the store as a maroon, but I bought him because when the light hit him just right in the tank he looked like he might be a gold stripe, which was what my boyfriend & I really wanted [plus he was so damn cute and we couldn't resist
] Anyway, he's grown about 1/2 an inch since we've had him and every now n then his first stripe has flecks of yellow in it. My question is, can this be conculsive proof that he really is a gold stripe, or can maroons sometimes do this and trick us hopeful wishers into thinking they're a gold stripe??
Here's a picture of him!
You can't see the gold we sometimes see, I just thought I'd post a nice shot of him.. =)
