I have a juvenile maroon clown that is tank bred from my LFS. It's maroon with three very white stripes, and wasn't advertised as a gold stripe.
I had it in quarentene for a month, where he was happy and healthy. I just put it into my display tank 48 hours ago, where I have a small bubble tip anenome. After about 24 hours he hosted in the anenome and looks quite happy! He even feeds the anenome when I feed the tank.
Today I was watching him and noticed the tips of all of his fins are BRIGHT orange. These areas used to be clear. The fins all fade from body color to black and then orange, instead of to clear.
Is this normal? I haven't changed his diet. I'm not complaining at all- it's very cool looking and he still looks perfectly content, it's just not something I've ever seen before or was able to find in a search. Any ideas? Is it just his way of saying thanks?![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
