Maroon clownfish size and color question

So yesterday I picked up a mated pair of maroon clownfish and I have a few simple questions. Currently they are in my quarantine tank and look great. I have read that females can be 3x bigger if not more than the males.... this seems to be true in my pair.... the female is HUGE. Will the male ever catch up or will they stay this way? He looks so small next to her it isnt funny. Also the female is alot darker then the male...she is almost black.....Is that the norm as well and if not what is recommended to bring back that vibrant color like the male?
Here are their pics.

Thanks for all the help

Yea. Im thinking of getting one, have you noticed them being mean to other fish or anything unusual? I really like the way they look.

if the female dies and he does the sexchange thing to become dominant. I'm just not sure if he'll do it in the absence of another male.

okay that makes sense then..... I just feel so bad for him cause she just looms over him in size.
BTW the female thinks she is a steam shovel and has decides to excavate the entire sandbed and make her own sand dunes.
So what about coloring..... is there a way to make her more vibrant like the male or is this just the way nature intended it to be?
"paintballer" I have been told they are one of the most aggressive clownfish there are (besides the tomato). They are currently in QT for the next few weeks so how aggressive they are so far is a question I cannot answer. Now whether they are more aggressive when paired or as a single fish towards other fish I cannot tell you. This is my 1st pair and the 1st time I have owned a maroon clown. I will tell you this though. They are going in my 90 gal setup after QT and they will be the last fish I probably add. The female maroon is 5in long and about 3in high and the largest fish I own which will instantly make her the queen of the tank.
Will let you know what happens in a few weeks

Thanks. I really like their color but we'll see how things go. I would probably add the maroon with a bangaii cardinal at the same time, so I can ensure boundaries havent been set up for either and all will be well (at least hoping so).
