Good Morning fellow Reef Keepers
I was at my LFS yeaterday and some one brought in a Maroon Clown fish that was all of 4 to 4.5 inches. With just loosing my Fu Manchu Lionfish and nothing in the tank I took it. The fish was free and looked realy realy good. Belive it or not this is my first clownfish ever. I said many many times I would never get a clownfish but this one was nice. Any feeding sugestions please feel free to advise me. I will try to post some pictures over the weekend. I am still on the hunt to replace my Fu Manchu lionfish but the fish need to be perfect. Please post picture of your clownfish.

I have two "false" perculas and they love the frozen cubes. Any kind, but mostly the marine quisine. I also give them the dried slow sinking morsels. They dart around the tank so fast that I have a hard time getting their picture. This is the only half-way decent picture that I have been able to get on one and a half of them!

I am glad that you have your maroom in an aggressive tank, as I have heard they can get to be pretty aggressive, especially at 4.5 inches!

Congrads on your new Maroon clown, I have a female Maroon clown and a male maroon gold stripe, they are the best. The female can be a real B*@ch! She will nail my hand if she thinks it is to close to her during cleaning, I will try to post a picture this weekend of the pair.
As for eating they eat everything. She likes Marine quizine alot, and lately she has been steeling the silver sides from my puffer, She eats anything I put in the tank. She goes nuts for ghost shrimp. Good luck with yours, I would say she is a female by her size, mine is about 4 1/2 - 5 inches and the little guy is like 1 1/2. LOL

I have about a 4 or 5in maroon, have had him for 8 years and he really sin't agressive, if he does do something its within the first 1hour of a new addition and he just backs up into it with his tail, doesn't do anything else
