i just came back from little shop of pets! ph 603 433 7387. rt 1 portsmouth . as you can tell i liked like the place. nice corals some good fish. (they do use copper in the fish tanks) just got another 300+ worth of corals+fish. pretty smart kid working their. just thought some of you guys that dont mind driving would like to know. anyone know of some other really good places?

Hey Gator,
I was there a few days ago and they just got in an AWSOME shipment of corals, anemonies and star fish- some are pretty big! I like the flourescent yellow and pink ones...
I talked to Rick (young guy) he seems pretty knowlegable.

those are colt coral. sort of, now im not positive, but i think those are dyed that color they are nice but they dont stay that way! they did it with enemones years ago and people bought them, so they kept doing it. i think it eventually kills them from stress. colts are hard to kill thou. do you know of any others in new england? i'll pretty much drive anywhere! i got one of the orange linkia(star fish). looks good so far! that place is now on the top of my list. today i went to saugus(pj's pet center) and framingham (tropical isle) . pj's had a nice frog spawn (had)now i do. and a stars and strips puffer (dont tell anyone in the aggresive room) i could not leave it there! it looked sad!lol. little shop of pets is going to look into a 270gl for me mon. i hope its not to much!!!

No I have not been there I plan on going sometime. They seem to have good prices on live rock, And someone who has been there told me they had a big selection of LR and it was very nice.

They say that is a good store in nh but they dont do mailorder.

I haven't been there in a month or two, but I too like the store. I bought some live rock from there about a year ago. I also got my protien skimmer there. A little pricey, but so are most LFS, i guess!
