mated pair maroon clowns

what is with my clowns putting the tails in the sand and shaking it all up. looks like there doing a burn out. does any one else have clowns that do this. if so what are they doing it for.

Very common....stirring the sand bed up for food.........

yes, my female maroon is always making a mess of my sand bed. Usually only near where they sleep/anemone/eggs. But man, its a big mess.

Yes mine does it all the time. I was actually wondering why myself. It has scattered the sand everywhere and now hardley no sand exist at the bottom of the rock surrounding the anemone.
