This is my first time dealing with something that is a mated pair. So I am thinking about geting a mated pair of clownfish. I need some help on this. So I have some quastions.
1. How long will it take for them to lay eggs?
2. will anying of the things I already have in my tank eat the eggs. I have a Jawfish, A fals purcula clownfish, sixline wrasse, Bicolor dottyback (will be selling), Brittle starfish, hermit crabs, snails, and corals. No Anemone.
3. What do I fead the fry?
4. Will the fry get stuck to any of my power heads?
5. Can you give me more info on this?

bad idea...i would buy 1 that is smaller then the one you have and add him, i have a breeding pair of maroons and 3 other maroons in a 75 gallon and 2 perculas...the perculas have been together for 4 years and hang out together all daylong but have never breeded that i know of...the maroons breed atleast 1 time a month most the time 2 times a month..but if your going to get into BREEDING then haveing them in you DT is the harder route sence a breeding tank is set up much like a QT tank, the fry have to have a strain of rotifier "single cell organism" that eats phytoplanton, you need to make your own pytoplanton to feed to the rotifiers and feed the rotifiers to the fry, if you get a pair to lay eggs wait till you can see their little eyes in the eggs to take them out of the tank and move them to a 10 gallon tank that has a air stone in the bottom for flow...if the flow isnt right they will not hatch and will all die..that post the pervius guy linked is a good one, i have a book on breeding a updated book, its alot of work getting it set up but it needs to be somewhat like how that link says...and your power heads will kill the fry, your sump or filter will kill it, every thing will kill them
