Mated Pairs?

I was wondering if I could get some help? I was intrested in buying some mated pairs of fish, for example: clowns, Cardinals...where would be the best place to purchase them?

best place would be the lfs in my opinion. there you could actually see them paired off. hth

i heard that clown fish specially the parcula clown fish could change they ---, if u put it 2 fish in the tank. ask your LPS for detail

i have a mated pair of black striped(horizontal) cardinals

ok I know something about clowns if you get two imature fish then you are guarenteed a mated pair.
the fish start off life as males the bigger of the two fish "turns" into a female if that female dies then the next biggest fish turns to female but once the fish is female then it will not turn back to a male
as far as the cardinals I know nothing about them I have two myself and I have no idea what --- they are alls I know is one is bigger than the other so maybe I'll get lucky
