Maxspect Razor: Day 0

so I broke down and decided to buy a new 120W Maxspect Razor 16K. this thread will serve as a journal of the growth and performance of this fixture.

yea jus wanted to start the thread. the light should be here in the nxt 2 days... UPS ground :/... in the mean time im cleaning up my old 4x39 fixture.. for sale btw

i got the fixture in yesterday afternoon and set it up. looks very nice. i have it set on a preset photo period which mimmics the dusk/dawn. im anxious to see how it affects my sps frags i have. theyre brown! and white. never seen a lick of green on it!

this is the fuxture at noon; 50% MAX intensity for acclimation. probly gna leave it do this for about a week or so then increase MAX slowly.

So I did some rearranging today and took some things out to free up some space. I've had about 6 frags of zoas on a rock about midway up the tank and they've been shy since the LEDs so I mounted them on the floor - we'll see how the act.
