I noticed my clowns at the surface every once in awhile. the seem to be ok otherwise. they swim around chase each other eat normal and at night they seem to sleep at the bottom of the tank. is this normal or should I worry?

That is normal clown behavior, the bigger clown is just trying to setup dominance over the smaller clown. Over time the chasing will die down, also clowns sleep on the bottom of the tank.
